Everyone has something to say about a movie

I saw The Devils Rejects and Willie Wonka yesterday.

Let me start off by saying that Willie Wonka was better than I expected. It wasnt great or anything but it was pretty good. I didnt know what to expect from Johnny Depp. His Wonka was good and all, different yet a bit deeper and more "shadowy" than Gene Wilder from back in the day. It showed his dilemma of being a genius whose ideas were robbed and had to worry about outsiders betraying him. I hate Tim Burton but I cant be bypassed and not say he did a good job. The glass elevator was hot as balls too. About 110º.
Overall it would be a 8 out of 10 due to imagery and the Oompa Loompa's were the shit. That guy did a great job as a jazillion Oompa's.

The Devil's Rejects was great. It was sick as fuck, dirty and full of Southern grime. Rob Z. did a much better job with the whole direction of this film than its big brother, House of a 1000 Corpses. The story was actually really good and the way it conveyed the horror of Otis's (Bill Moseeley's character) mindset thinking he was the Devil and doing the duties he should be doing. One of those kind of "without darkness there is no light.." kind of things. You can also tell Mr. Zombie tried to be intense with the visuals through cinematography but keeping it old school horror. The way he plays the Audience's emotions towards the end is phenomenal because you find yourself changing your opinion of the original killers and almost start rooting for them.
Although I do enjoy movies and books about real life killers and what they do and whatnot, I in no way am a fan of their actual acts of death. I like more of the science based style of reality on how and why they get caught, but I was wanting this band of "Rejects" to escape.
Some of it reminded me of Texas Chainsaw style with some new school psychological thriller. Almost the best of both worlds. Well done and I was glad he didnt have any of his music in it, because after White Zombie, his music blows.
Overall I give it a 10 out of 10.
Also, there were titties in it. Thats right. Titties.

I talked to my Mom today and whatnot. Damn its like she likes the fact I called but she doesnt give a fuck what I have to say. Shes alright though. SweetReet doesnt fuck around. Shes a mean mamma jamma.

wonka was amazing. i loved it. music? perfect! the little boy who played charlie was about fifty times better than that original little bastard who played him. not to mention this film ties in very closely to the novel and rohald dahl is one of my favorite authors and i thought the original movie was blaw. thats all for now. be safe.

That is odd...

I seem to know how to spell all of my favorite author's names. Well done...it takes skill to state your opinion while simultaneously making it obvious that you don't know the facts. It lets people know up front that you haven't the faintest. I love it...it's genius.

Probably steaming over some post on craigslist. Schools out til September and I can only work 8 hours in a day. In regards to the drama queen my dear friend I think my involvement in the internet speaks for itself. No no I pretty much dont stir up drama because I sit online, work, read, and paint. Im not interactive enough for drama. Apologies.

Re: That is odd...

Id go more with the Fiona Apple "Tidal" route. Alanis was a little bit before my time. I think the only song I can recall was that one about a fly in some poor mans chardonnay
